The human figure has been and will continue to be the most represented subject of art – the timeless subject portrayed in art throughout recorded history. Because of our intimacy with it and our intrigue with it, we continue to be fascinated with unattainable beauty on one hand and rugged character and spirit on the other. We can sometimes relate with the emotion of a sculpture to some indefinable aspect of ourselves or of just being human.
